David Bruneau

Course Assistant
David Bruneau David was a student in the first Rebalancing course given by Menlha 1987-88 in Nelson, BC.  Thereafter he assisted in the yearly six-month courses for the next five years and maintained a private practice in Rebalancing in Nelson.  As well as helping with bodywork instruction he led the daily meditations that have become a core element of the Rebalancing program.  Meditation and the exploration of our true nature have been a deep interest for most of David's life and he has studied with numerous teachers and Masters in different parts of the world as well as consistently practising since his early twenties.  Also during the years in Nelson David was drawn to the Feldenkrais work (Awareness Through Movement) as taught by Brian Lynn from Victoria and has integrated this approach to the body into his life.  The Feldenkrais perspective is one of the foundations of Rebalancing and David shares his knowledge of it during the course.

Since the Rebalancing program has moved to Costa Rica David has been a teacher in seven courses, continuing to facilitate the meditation, Feldenkrais sessions, and to assist in teaching the bodywork.  He considers Rebalancing to be part of his "life meditation" and spiritual journey.
