GROUP SIZE

Hacienda Del Sol can accommodate up to 29 people for a non-cleansing retreat and 15 for a cleanse group. In order for you to reserve the entire resort for your group exclusively, we require that you have at least 15 guests for a cleanse or 20 for a non cleansing group.

For a private function exclusive to your group, we also require a $200 one time facility charge.

DISCOUNTS

Groups with 20 or more full paying guests staying 30 days or more will receive a $3000 discount. 

Groups of 12 participants (not including instructors) the instructor is free, after 20 participants (not including instructors) the second instructor is free, after 28 participants (not including instructors) 3 people are free.

Group cleanses with a minimum of 7 people (not including group leader), the group leader will receive a free cleanse. Group cleanses of 13 people or more (not including group leader), the group leader and 1 other person receives a free cleanse.

We offer $100 discount for returning guests and Costa Rican's with proof of residency.

DEPOSITS

In order for Hacienda del Sol to reserve space for your group, we require that you provide a non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 for each week that you intend to stay.

NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE MADE UNTIL THE DEPOSIT IS PAID IN FULL. NO EXCEPTIONS. The deposit is absolutely non-refundable if cancelled any time within 6 months of your arrival date.

If cancelled prior to 6 months of the arrival of your group, you will be refunded half of your deposit. There are no exceptions to this rule, so please make sure your group is committed prior to putting down a deposit.

Once your deposit is received, HDS, we will add your group to our website and give you free referrals.

Two months before your arrival we require 25% of the total amount, Thirty days prior to your arrival we require 50% of the total amount, and the full amount paid seven days prior to your arrival. Payment can be made through Paypal (accessible through our website), or bank transfers into Banco National in Costa Rica. Please note that Paypal requires an additional charge of 5%. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, checks or money orders. If full payment is not received by your arrival the balance must be paid in cash upon arrival.

We also ask that you include a service tip for our staff at the end of your stay.

FACILITIES

Hacienda del Sol has 12 cabinas which can accommodate up to 29 people. We have 10 cabinas that can be shared by 2 people and 2 hostel cabinas that can accommodate 8 people. All of our cabina's are equipped with North American electrical outlets and all cabina's have hammocks fans and reading lamps.

7 Cabinas have private bathrooms (all hot water) half kitchenette. 

The shared woman's facilities has 3 toilets and 4 showers (all equipped with hot water) 

The mens facilities have 2 toilets, 2 showers (all equipped with hot water). 

Buddha Hall is an open space of approximately 120 sq meters. This is the workshop space.

Krishna Hall is our restaurant and can seat up to 35 people. We offer healthy vegetarian and raw food meals here.

The Mud Bath area is for those of you who would like to slather our natural clay mud all over and bake in the sun.

We offer laundry service, $6 for a wash load and $6 for the dryer. We do have a clothes line for those who like their clothes drying naturally in the sun.
